Air intake: A simple air intake that balances pressures between the inside of a vial and the outside environment during preparation. The simple air intake features a filter to prevent foreign particles from entering the bottle, and a bevel to prevent coring of the cap. The internal diameter of the air intake is also important to ensure good air circulation.
